PLASTIGAUR carries out integrated extrusion, printing and lamination services We develop flexible packs and packaging in the industrial range and converting films in new markets and sectors with high added value.
All company activity is governed by the principles of the Circular Economy, covered by its global and strategic commitment to sustainability.
Project Development
In 1978 Antxón Garmendia, together with his brother Juan Martín and their respective spouses, bought a small paper bag business and a serviettes business, which were closing due to retirement. Manipulados Enara S.A. was thus founded.
After rapid growth of their business and with the purchase of several extrusion machines, they entered the plastics industry, which was to end up becoming their only activity.
Shortly afterwards, in 1989, PLASTIGAUR was opened in a new 2000 m2 industrial unit in the town of Andoain, where the second-hand machinery was replaced with new machinery. The order book quickly grew and R+D+i began to be a priority matter.
The great leap
In 2004 an industrial unit was built next door with a 5500 m2 ground floor and a 1000 m2 mezzanine, giving a total production area of 8500 m2.
Since then, the management has worked to transform a family business into a professional one, combining the values transmitted by its founders with the innovation, thoroughness and efficiency of a competitive international company.
